The „other” Angels

The people of God continue to move forward with Jesus Christ and in the center of God’s will as well as the harvest therein. Meanwhile, we may be confident that the Lord is bringing us into contact with the presence of His angels, who are called the ‘Others’. These angels are sent out from various levels of the Spirit to accomplish the will of God (cf. Revelation 14:6a.8a.9a.15a.17a.18a).

Revelation 14:6a.8a.9a.15a.17a.18a:
6a Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language and people. …
8a A second (Note: another) angel followed and said, …
9a A third (Note: another) angel followed them and said in a loud voice: …
15a Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, …
17a Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. …
18a Still another angel, …

The reason is that the process of spiritual harvest is accompanied by the work of the angels sent by God, since God is spirit and their presence are winds. These are sent by God for those who are to inherit salvation (cf. Matthew 13:39b i.c.w. Revelation 14:15; Hebrews 1:7.14).

Matthew 13:39b:
… 39b The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

Revelation 14:14-15.18:
14 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.
15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” …

Hebrews 1:7.14:
7 In speaking of the angels he says, ‘He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.’ …
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

The Angels in the Dynamics of the Sound of the ‘Seventh Trumpet’

These angels are related with the dynamic of the sound of ‘the seventh trumpet’, which concludes a previous time cycle and launches into a new time cycle (cf. Revelation 11:15a).

Revelation 11:15a:
15a The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, …

To understand this, it is important that we recognize the biblical time cycles of blessing and redemption. The redemption cycle begins with the biblical month of Aviv/Nisan, and the seventh biblical month therein is Tishrei/Ethanim, which heralds, the new biblical year, as it were, within the blessing cycle of God.

In this seventh month lies the feast of trumpets to solemnly herald the beginning of the blessing cycle, which accordingly reveals a special significance with regard to the new phase of time (cf. Leviticus 23:24).

Leviticus 23:24:
24 ‘Say to the Israelites: “On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. …”

This new phase of time is associated with the fear of the LORD, as the day of the feast of trumpets leads into the time of the ‘Days of Awe’. Furthermore, this phase of time is closely connected with the power of the Word of God, which is like a living, sharp and two-edged sword, whose two-edgedness has its seat in the treasures of the Anointed One, Christ, that is, His profound wisdom and knowledge (cf. Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 7:17 i.c.w. Colossians 2:3)

Hebrews 4:12:
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Ephesians 6:17:
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Colossians 2:3:
3 in whom (Note: Christ) are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Within this seventh sound is manifested the movement of the ‘everlasting gospel’ that takes place in the mid-heaven between heaven and earth, where Satan the prince of the air is located (cf. Ephesians 2:2).

Ephesians 2:2:
… 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

This seventh sound is for the purpose of shaking the adversary’s domain with the eternal truth of the gospel by bringing the inhabitants of the earth into contact with the power of that truth. In doing so, God is concerned with opening up the possibility for these inhabitants to become a worshipper of the Father in spirit and in truth (cf. Revelation 14:6-7 i.c.w. John 4:23).

Revelation 14:6-7:
6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language and people.
7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

John 4:23:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.

The Angel and the Eternal Gospel

The expression ‘eternal gospel’ implies that the gospel of God’s grace is not an instrument designed to replace a program that has been perverted by improperly preached cheap grace. Rather, it is eternally existent as eternity itself and brings eternal joy, peace and hope to people through divine righteousness.

Since Satan is the prince who rules in the air and the first ‘other’ angel is present in this realm of the spirit in the mid-heaven to proclaim the eternal gospel, it follows from his proclamation that Satan will be shaken in his position with his powers, just as the prophet Haggai prophesied (cf. Haggai 2:6 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:26-27).

Haggai 2:6:
6 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

Hebrews 12:26-27:
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”
27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken – that is, created things – so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

The call of this angel is to fear and give glory to God who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water, which again illustrates the impact of the sound of the seventh trumpet associated with the time phase of the ‘Days of Awe’.

Furthermore, the angel calls into a governmental realm of worship where it is about:

1. the governmental realm of God, heaven,
2. the governmental realm of the Ekklēsia on earth,
3. the kingdom government and glory in the last days, the sea (cf. Habakkuk 2:14),
4. the realm of government within the treasures and mysteries in Christ in the form of wisdom and knowledge, the fountains of waters (cf. Colossians 2:3).

This realm of worship is akin to an open door, linked to the sound of God’s judgments on the ‘Babylonian system’ on earth. Moreover, it carries for us a deeper understanding about the cooperation of new angelic entities that God has in store in order to cooperate with the Ekklēsia or the body of Christ on earth (cf. Revelation 14:8).

Revelation 14:8:
8 A second (Note: another) angel followed and said, ‘ “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,” which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.’

The interaction between the body of Christ and the ‘other’ angel, as well as the subsequent ‘other’ angels in the different spheres of the spirit, is based on the intensity of the closeness of God.

The closer the angels are to God, the higher they are positioned spiritually and act through the commands of God on a subordinate level of the spirit, so that it comes to the implementation of the command of God in the respective level (Note: temple, altar, …; cf. Revelation 14:14-19a).

Revelation 14:14-19a:
14 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud (Note: dimension of faith; cf. Hebrews 12:1), and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man (Note: body of Christ on earth walking in faith) with a crown of gold on his head (Note: wreath of Victory => overcomers) and a sharp sickle in his hand.
15 Then another angel came out of the temple (Note: realm of relationship with God) and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
16 So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
17 Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
18 Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar (Note: realm of the heart of God) and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”
19a The angel swung his sickle on the earth, …

The Transformation of the Word of God and the Sharp Sickle

Within this sound of ‘completion’, the seventh trumpet, which announces the new phase and concludes the old phase of time, there is the transformation of the Word of God from a weapon to a sharp harvesting instrument. This involves the transformation from a sharp sword into a sharp sickle destined for harvest (cf. Revelation 14:14-15.18).

18 Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”

This process of transformation corresponds to the statement in Isaiah 2:4a-b, which clearly states:

‘He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. …’

This doesn’t mean that the truth of God’s word changes, but rather changes from a singular to a plural dynamic, which includes the sphere of influence of the truth of God’s word on one person added to the sphere of influence over nations.

Thus, the harvesting process involved is like the throwing of a sickle that moves like a boomerang in the spirit realm above the earth and returns to its respective ‘thrower’ in the hand.

It is a dynamic of confrontation, servant hood and battle, just as the hand of the thrower first encloses the boomerang, then opens and closes again upon catching it.

This spiritual harvesting process is accompanied by the power of the LORD’s judgments, based on the foundation of God’s grace, which brings forth righteousness on earth (cf. Isaiah 26:9b).

Isaiah 26:9b:
… 9b When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

These two sharp ‘sickles’, as they are called in Revelation 14:14-15.18, are tantamount to the beginning as well as the end of the lunar phase, pointing to the importance of Christ and the Father as the Alpha and Omega as well as the beginning and the end.

Moreover, these ‘crescent phases’ call to set the goal correctly and to integrate the reflection of each completed phase. Thus, it is about the call of a strategy development for the fruit as well as the development of a harvesting strategy.

By means of these two ‘sickle phases’, the kingship of God in the form of the face of the lion and the priesthood of God in the form of the face of the bull get revealed to us as saints, since we can associate them with the right and left sides (cf. Ezekiel 1:10).

Ezekiel 1:10:
10 Their faces looked like this: each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.

This involves, among other things, the full presence of God’s glory, represented on the one hand by the right side, the south as the highest position of the sun, and on the other hand His mysteries, represented by the left side, the north as the seat of ‘darkness’, which lie hidden in the Son of God.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
