Every time the Lord completes a full cycle of time, we, as His people, are about to go through a phase of transition accompanied by challenges. What is a transition?

=> A transition is the place of ‘passing over’.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are embedded in the covenant of Abraham. Abram, the Hebrew, was one who lived in continuous transitions.
The word ‘Hebrew’ is ‘'ābar’ and means among other things ‘crossing over’. That is why we are a purchased by blood and redeemed people who keep crossing over to the next place of victory.

A transition is also a journey from one state, one stage, one affair, or one place to another!
Furthermore, a transition is the change within a movement, development from one form, one stage, one species to the next. A transition can also include a change in sound or a musical transition from one track to another.

Most changes in the body of Christ begin with a transformation in the worship dynamics of a particular believer. Furthermore, a transition is an abrupt change in energy status that is associated with the loss or increase of a single amount of energy.

In phases when God releases new strength and power into the lives of His saints, great changes occur. The power of God very often seems to confuse the usual changes of the respective saints. It is significant that when one is in such a phase of change, he learns to keep up with the Lord. <= (note: The text set in ‘=>’ is a part excerpt of the prayer letter from March 2007 by Chuck D. Pierce.)

A challenge during a transition, for example, is written in John 20:19a.26a-b, where it is reported that the eleven disciples of Jesus gathered together in the room of a building after the death of Jesus. Due to religious pressure from outside, they kept the doors locked.

John 20:19a.26a-b:
19a On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, …
26a-b 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, …

The eleven disciples of Jesus at that time were in transition (note: represented by the number 11) into a new time because they had already been in the first day of the new week that contained the event of Jesus' resurrection.

This new day contributed to the fact that Jesus Christ in resurrection power revealed Himself to His eleven disciples as the ‘twelfth’ by suddenly standing in their midst despite closed doors (see John 20:19b.26b-c).

John 20:19b.26b-c:
… 19b Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace (note: Shalom) be with you!”
… 26b-c Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

Based on this it is advisable for saints in the phase of transition to have fellowship with like-minded people and to close the door to the influences of the enemy and especially to the influence of the religious spirit. This results in protection for the fellowship of saints and the living faith, which includes a true relationship with the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit (see Matthew 6:6 i.c.w. Matthew 18:20).

Matthew 6:6:
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matthew 18:20:
“… 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

What is the Religious Spirit?

=> The religious spirit is a demonic power that wants to stop the progress of change in the church of Christ with all its might. This operation or this attack is carried out by the religious spirit through all ages. When we got to the literal meaning of religion, we find out that the word means ‘to think about divine things’.

Furthermore, the word ‘religion’ has three meanings in the Word of God: external religious acts, such as prayer and going to church; the feeling of absolute dependence; the observance of moral laws as a divine institution.

James 1:26-27 defines ‘religion’ from the Christian point of view:

‘If someone thinks he serves God and does not keep his tongue in check, but deceives his heart, his worship is void.
A pure and faultless worship before God the Father is that of visiting orphans and widows in their distress and keeping themselves pure from the world.’

Religion is associated with worship, and when it is pure, it is very powerful. However, religion is also defined as an organizational system of doctrine with a low-value pattern of behavior.

This means that the worshiper is required to demonstrate a proper form of worship. This is where we move from pure and unpolluted religion into a ritual. Demons of doctrines rob people of their freedom to worship the holy God in purity through institutional rules and regulations of worship.

The religious spirit resists especially the apostolic and prophetic anointing because demons hate God-given revelation and His pioneering nature for the church. They resist the gifts in the body of Christ that bring revealing freedom to the members of the body. They try to even stone revelations of the apostles and prophets because their revelatory words establish God's foundation in the body of Christ for this historic period.

1 Corinthians 12:28 establishes an order of ruling gifts in the church of Jesus for victory in the world. This order is:

Apostles and prophets.

Religious spirits try to resist the order of God and His initiated change (note: progress).
It is the Spirit of God helping people's thoughts and thought processes to implement change on earth. However, it is the carnal mind of man that opposes this and is in enmity with God (see Galatians 5:17).

Galatians 5:17:
17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Religious spirits try to block strategic thinking for the future. They can bring people into a routine, or into a so called ‘modus operandi’, so that they do not want to get into a change in today's methods associated with victory.

In the New Testament, the disciples of the Lord should have revelation about how He is, who they are and who their enemies were. Through Jesus Christ, the Pharisees or scribes were given the choice either to oppose the divine nature of the Son of God or to align themselves with Jesus. It was up to them either to observe the rules of worship at the place where changes in behavior took place in worship, or to begin worshiping in spirit and truth.

Thus, religion in this context means a knowledge of God but not a relationship with Him. <= (note: The text set in ‘=>’ is a based on a teaching from the book ‘God's Now Time for Your Life’, pages 113-116 by Chuck D. Pierce, ISBN: 0-8307-3834-7)

The Release of Inner Peace

Because Jesus Christ was aware of the situation of the transition of His disciples and their inner anxiety, He appeared directly in their midst as the ultimate master in victory (note: The crucified One) and the Risen One (note: The end and the beginning => Alpha and Omega). At His first appearance in the locked room Jesus gave twice the ‘Shalom – peace’ to their inner man (note: soul and spirit). When Jesus appeared to His disciples after eight days including Thomas, He released the ‘Shalom – peace’ for the body of the disciples so that they were blessed in a threefold way for the new time. The reason lies in the fact that it was Thomas who was asked by Jesus Christ to touch His wounds of His hands and side.

This Hebrew word for 'Shalom' describes ‘completeness, wholeness, health, peace, prosperity, protection, reliability, silence, success, perfection, abundance, tranquility, harmony, and the absence of hurry and disunity’ (see John 20:20-22).

John 20:20-22:
20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. …”

Jesus came with the new day of the week to end a transition phase of the disciples and their related anxiety. In the way that the year has twelve months and the twelfth month of each year ends the year, we can speak in a prophetic context that a time cycle has been completed to open a new time cycle of the spirit.

The Heavenly Father in the facet of the Almighty and Jesus Christ are the beginning and the end of temporary time, which means that they are the time span of our life and thus cover it (see Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:13 i.c.w. Deuteronomy 30:20).

Revelation 1:8:
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 22:13:
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Deuteronomy 30:20:
… 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life (note: expansion of life), and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

By the presence of Jesus Christ in the locked room with His disciples we can learn that through His spoken word and presence He strengthened the soul and spirit of His disciples (note: represented by the twice spoken ‘Shalom’ to them), since it is said that they were full of joy when they saw Him.
And it is the joy of the Lord that is associated with strength (see Nehemiah 8:10c).

Nehemiah 8:10c:
“… 10c for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

In the midst of the locked room, Jesus Christ became for His disciples the entrance (note: door) to the new realm and time of the Spirit, which includes the ‘emerald presence’ of the Heavenly Father, going hand in hand with eternal government (see John 10:9 i.c.w. Revelation 4:2-3; Ephesians 2:6; Revelation 3:21).

John 10:9:
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Revelation 4:2-3:
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.
3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald (note: green) encircled the throne.

Ephesians 2:6:
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, …

Revelation 3:21:
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

While Jesus Christ, as the Risen One, gave His disciples inner peace and strength, they also received the new apostolic commission from Him in an encoded form and were touched by His resurrection breath. At this moment Jesus did not specifically tell each one of His disciples what their mission was, but let them know that they were sent as sons of God, as He was sent by the Father.

Conclusion

=> The phase of a change involves stopping, ending, or dying of something.
This can cause a lot of confusion. The state of confusion is okay for some time, because it is the phase to rearrange things in life.

It is important that the cognitive processes (note: brain, thought processes) of the believer in transition adapt to new ideas and changes in his environment. Herein old strongholds break or persistently refuse to let the believer go. Therefore it is necessary in such transitional phases to be focused on moving forward with the Lord.

Nevertheless, it can happen that we doesn't really know how to move forward, yet we have the inner certainty of never wanting to return to the old. When we have gone through this phase in the center of God's will, the place of transition of the new finally becomes visible!
It is important to have firm confidence in Jesus Christ in order to go further and get there with Him.

The Transformation of the Phase of Sadness into the Phase of Joy

Psalm 126:6, for example, clearly reveals that a phase of sadness can turn into a time of joy and reaping.

Psalm 126:6:
6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

This means that there comes a time when captivity is broken and even if the seed has been stolen from the basket of the believer in many ways, the latter comes back to him and bears fruit.
When one has wept, joy will come into life. When one has given, one will experience growth. When you have planted, things will grow.

It is crucial not to get tired of doing good, because at the right time the harvest will come if you are not tired. Then joy will prevail over sorrow! <= (note: The text set in ‘=>’ is a part excerpt of the prayer letter from March 2007 by Chuck D. Pierce.)

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus Christ spoke of the power of faith in relation to move a mountain (see Mark 11:23).

Mark 11:23:
23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. …”

Jesus made this statement in relation to the power of faith and prayer.
We would like to use the following word to refer to the shift of a mountain in faith in connection with the transfer of time.

The Peak of Time

Since we are approaching the new biblical year of which the beginning can also be compared to the peak of a mountain because each temporal beginning in the biblical-hebrew culture begins with the word ‘rō'š’, which means among other things ‘the tip of a mountain or rock’, I would like to talk about the meaning of the past time and how to place the made experiences correctly in life.
This refers to life experiences that contain good and challenging experiences that are important for our future life with God (see Romans 8:28).

Romans 8:28:
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

The Memory of God's Goodness

Life experiences that are marked by difficult circumstances can lead to a testimony if God intervenes in this regard.
The Word of God makes it clear that we should not forget the good that God has done for us (see Deuteronomy 4:9 i.c.w. Psalm 103:2).

Deuteronomy 4:9:
9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

Psalm 103:2:
2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – …

The reason for the call to remember the good is because God is the Ancient of Days and longs for us as His people to place the experienced times correctly in His spiritual ‘present presence’ (see Daniel 7:9 i.c.w. Revelation 1:8).

Daniel 7:9:
9 “As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

Revelation 1:8:
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

God Who Is, Who Was and Who Is to Come!

From Revelation 1:8 it can be inferred that God IS, was and is to come. It does not mean that God was, is and is to come. Since God is Spirit, this statement means that it is God's desire for us that we do not place the past in the forefront of our lives but that we walk in His spiritual ‘NOW STATUS => I AM’ and from there we discern the times and seasons.

For God, the time period of the past, the present and the future is not dead, but completely alive, because as the ‘I AM – YAHWEH’ He fills and surrounds all times.
This means that the walk in Him encompasses the progress in all times in spirit and in truth as well as in His reign in kingship and government authority (see Colossians 3:1-3).

Colossians 3:1-3:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

The Sea and the End of a Period of Time

The Hebrew word used for ‘sea’ in the Word of God is => jām‘ and also means ‘west’. It indicates the direction of the water because the west is connected to large bodies of water such as the sea or the oceans.
The west is the direction of the setting sun, which is an indication of the end of things, of a day or a period of time. <= (Part of the “Prophet's Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 582)

Together with the explanation of the word ‘sea’ it becomes clear that the correct arrangement of time and the victorious closing of the past through Jesus Christ is necessary in our lives. As a result, we receive power from the past as we recall in our present time the interventions of God which He did for us in the past and enclose them with the revelatory truth of the Word of God in our present time for our future.
As a result, we recognize our time measurement of the past as a mountain surrounded by the waters of the sea which is connected with the power of His revelatory word and His blessings so that we enter the new day with God, our Heavenly Father (see Ephesians 5:26-27; Luke 12:54 i.c.w. Isaiah 43:19a; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Ephesians 5:26-27:
… 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Luke 12:54:
54 He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does.

Isaiah 43:19a:
19a See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? …

2 Corinthians 5:17:
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

According to biblical understanding, saints who are aware of the royalty and priesthood in Christ Jesus are authorized to move ‘mountains’ in different ‘character forms’. They have the power to shift every circumstance by re-positioning it for the service of God in the realm of the revelatory truth.
Looking from the perspective of Jesus' royalty and priesthood, one is empowered to stand before the throne of grace with confidence and steadfastness to receive the new time from the hands of the Heavenly Father (see Hebrews 4:16).

Hebrews 4:16:
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God wants that the victory of Jesus of the last year accompanies us in the New Year as a testimony like a mountain standing in the sea to encourage us to use His victory in challenging situations so that we are enabled at the end of this time to shift a new mountain into the sea to increase the impact of our testimony.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

Beloved people of God,

This prophetic word is meant to serve us as a piecework and guideline for the biblical year (note: 5780/2020). I encourage every reader to pray over this word, and to proclaim the plan of the Father over the coming year.

September 29th, 2019, and the New Biblical Year 5780

On the eve of 09/29/2019 we, the Body of Christ, have entered the new biblical year 5780 together with the Jewish people. This is of importance to us, who have been grafted as wild olive shoots into the precious olive tree, as we partake in the fatness (note: anointing) of the root (see Romans 11:17-18).

Romans 11:17-18:
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

The Apple of God's Eye

According to Zechariah 2:12b, Israel is the apple of God's eye with Jerusalem functioning as His pupil; so for us as Christians from the gentile nations it is beneficial to look at our lives and environment through Israel. This will result in walking confidently and with enlightened eyes into our future with Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 2:8b:
… 8b for whoever touches you (note: Israel) touches the apple of his eye.

The revelations we receive by this approach contain strategies helping us to position our lives in the center of the will and peace of God, just as Epaphras prayed (see Colossians 4:12).

Colossians 4:12:
12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

From the Time Cycle of the “Insight” to the Time Cycle of „Knowledge“

The new biblical year 5780 completes the ten year cycle of the “ajin – eye” and at the same time opens up the new ten year cycle connected to the Hebrew letter “pe – mouth”.

This change underlines that the “eye” is followed by the “mouth“, and this in turn indicates that the Holy Spirit leads us as people of God from the area of “insight” into the area of the verbal “expression of knowledge“. For it is the purpose of the eye to see things and the purpose of the mouth to speak that which has been seen (note: vision).
The expression of knowledge is connected to the treasures hidden in Christ Jesus together with wisdom (see Colossians 2:2-3).

Colossians 2:2-3:
… 2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

In order to walk in the verbal “expression of knowledge” in Christ, it is required to consistently remain in the Spirit in Christ and to move in the glory provided by Him (see John 17:21-23).

John 17:21-23:
… 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – 23 I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

=> The walk in the glory of God includes life in the power and brilliance of God that bear witness to His favor and grace. It is about the honor of the Heavenly Father, His eminence, His power and His blessing.

The glory given by Christ, aims to make His followers spiritually important persons “with weight” or to establish them. His glory (note: presence of the Father) automatically brings increase in every area, as earthly wealth and prosperity have their origin in the spiritual world.
Furthermore, the glory of God is an automatic deposit of the anointing. <= (note: The passage set in “=>” is based on an exposition from the “Prophet's Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, PhD.; page 237, paraphrased)

The Commissioning of Moses

The Hebrew letter “pe” has the numeric value of “80”, and is mentioned for the first time in Exodus 7:7; there, Moses, at the age of 80, and his brother Aaron are commissioned by God to approach Pharaoh and advise him of God's instruction to let the people of Israel go from Egypt.

Exodus 7:7:
7 Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Moses did not consider himself a gifted speaker, so he tried to convince God not to choose him for this assignment.

Even though Moses did not consider himself to be a „gifted speaker“, it was part of God's plan to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt with the help of Moses, because God was with the mouth of Moses (see Exodus 4:10-12).

Exodus 4:10-12:
10 Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, LORD. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow (note: heavy) of speech and tongue.”
11 The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD?
12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” (note: Verse 10 is literally translated from German.)

By God's commissioning, Moses received the status of a God before Pharaoh, and his brother Aaron received the status of a prophet (see Exodus 7:1).

Exodus 7:1:
1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

By God's instruction Aaron became the mouth for Moses. And even for Aaron, Moses was lifted into the position of a God (see Exodus 4:16).

Exodus 4:16:
16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.

Wherever we encounter challenges in life that God wants us to overcome by His instruction and obedience to His voice, we should not shy away, but implement the plan of God in accordance with His high thoughts. At the same time we pursue the objective to lead people into the glorious freedom of the sons of God (see Isaiah 55:8-9 i.c.w. Romans 8:21).

Isaiah 55:8-9:
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Romans 8:21:
… 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children (note: sons) of God.

Weakness and God's Power

It is God's plan that we make use of the power of His grace in the midst of our seemingly present weakness, so that we have a mouth filled with His revelatory knowledge (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).

2 Corinthians 12:9:
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

This becomes apparent in God's instruction to Moses, implying that Aaron (note: means “light-mountain“) be the mouth and prophet of Moses.

Where Moses saw himself as incapable of speaking, God filled this area of weakness with strength. This “completion” can be likened to the scrolls that were given to the prophet Ezekiel and the apostle John by an angel for them to eat (see Ezekiel 3:1-4; Revelation 10:9-11).

Ezekiel 3:1-4:
1 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.”
2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.
3 Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.
4 He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.

Revelation 10:9-11:
9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’”
10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.
11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

It is the word given by God that brings His plan or His reality into the visible, even if we view ourselves as incompetent to speak the words of God (see Jeremiah 1:6-7.9).

Jeremiah 1:6-7.9:
6 “Alas, Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
7 But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. …
9 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth.

The “Heavy” Speech/Tongue

Furthermore, it is no coincidence that Moses spoke to God of a heavy speech and a heavy tongue. With Aaron by his side, Moses already had the best prerequisites to speak in public and before kings on behalf of God.

The “Heaviness” Moses mentioned to God was already an indication for the weighty words, Moses and Aaron would speak to Pharaoh. The Hebrew word for “heavy” used in Exodus 4:10 is “kābēd and is also connected to the root word for the weighty glory of God, which is called “bôd.
(note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible on the word “heavy – kābēd with word key number: 3588, 3593, paraphrased.)

Consequently, the words of Moses and Aaron were filled with the heavy presence of God, which relates to the Spirit of the Fear of the LORD and equals a dark cloud carrying a large amount of rain.

This rain is connected to the manifestation of God's prophetic word, as well as to the words or teaching of Moses (see Isaiah 55:10-11 i.c.w. Deuteronomy 32:2).

Isaiah 55:10-11:
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Deuteronomy 32:2:
2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.

As the mouth is the portal for words, and God created the earth and therefore the reality and man in His image through the power of speech, it is this power of speech and the God-given intelligence (note: mind, freedom to act) that distinguishes mankind from the animal creation.

Apart from the mouth, the tongue also plays a vital role in the word-forming process, wherein the heart of a person is the source of ones words (see Matthew 12:34b).

Matthew 12:34b:
… 34b For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The word used for “heart“ in Hebrew is “lēb and means, among others, “emotions“, “will“, “mind“ (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible on the word “lēb – heart“ with the word key number: 3899).

The heart is the planning center from which the words of a person spring up.

In order to speak weighty words on behalf of God, it is respectively important to guard ones heart (see Proverbs 4:23).

Proverbs 4:23:
23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

The Fiery Coals of God

In this biblical year 5780 the emphasis lies on the fiery coals of God, because it is the presence of God's holiness which removes the burden of guilt and leads to redemption of sin, once the respective person has confessed her wrong heart attitude (see 1 John 1:9).

1 John 1:9:
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Consequently, there will be a new commissioning aiding the process of speaking the weighty words of God to the people, no matter whether they want to hear or not (see Isaiah 6:5-8).

Isaiah 6:5-8:
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
8 Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Being touched by the fiery coals of God results in the tongue turning into a fiery sword that speaks revelatory truth, separating light from darkness through the power of the discernment of spirits (see Revelation 1:16b i.c.w. Acts 2:3-4; Genesis 1:3-5).

Revelation 1:16b:
… 16b and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. …

Acts 2:3-4:
3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Genesis 1:3-5:
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.

The revelatory truth includes living words carrying the fire of God and can be compared to words that have been seasoned with salt (see Colossians 4:6).

Colossians 4:6:
6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Access Authorization into New Areas and God's Standard

What's more, some believers in Christ who have a pure heart, receive access authorization into new areas of the presence of God, whereas persons wanting to consciously remain in sin, will not be permitted to enter (see Hebrews 12:14 i.c.w. Genesis 3:24).

Hebrews 12:14:
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the LORD.

Genesis 3:24:
24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

The spoken fiery or weighty words of the saints, who willingly surrendered to the effect of God's fiery coals in His government area, carry the vibrancy and power of God which separates, so that the family of the Heavenly Father is revealed (see Matthew 10:37; Matthew 12:50).

Matthew 10:37:
37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 12:50:
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

As a result, the spoken words of the saints become greatly perceptible and lead to the relief of burdens in the life of the persons addressed, if they respond with a humble heart to the words of revelatory truth (see Hebrews 4:12).

Hebrews 4:12:
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

By obeying the revelatory words, a new first day arises with its reality created for the now carrying across into God's presence.

Motto For The Year 2020

The Herrenhuter motto for the Gregorian year 2020 is taken from Mark 9,24b, where it says:

Mark 9:24b:
… 24b “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

In the year cycle of the “mouth – Pe” it is no coincidence that the Holy Spirit caused the lot to fall on the word from Mark 9,24b (see Proverbs 16:33).

Proverbs 16:33:
33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

The verse from Mark 9:24b is connected to the deliverance of a boy plagued by an evil spirit, who – in a spiritual context – had the calling to reveal the will of God by his decisions, and to not move between a “yes!” and a “no!”.

The throwing of the boy into fire (note: heat) and into water (note: cold) by the evil spirit (see Mark 9:22a) was already an indication for the power within the boy for clear decisions, that he would make in the future to prohibit that which was not in accordance with the will of God, and to permit that which was in accordance with the will of God (see Matthew 18:18).

Matthew 18:18:
18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

It was this very influence the adversary feared, so he sent an evil spirit in the “young generation” to keep them captive in rigid religion and to move in the lie of the snake, which should demonstrate that their words have no power (note: rolling around on the ground; see Mark 9:17-18a.20).

Mark 9:17-18a.20:
17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
18a Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. …
20 So they brought him (note: the boy to Jesus Christ). When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

But Jesus recognized the hunger for faith in the “older generation”, represented by the father of the boy (note: fatherhood in the spirit of Elijah) to bring about a turn in the hearts of the “lost sons” (note: young generation; symbolized by the possessed boy).

This includes using their decision-making power in the glorious freedom of the sons of God, and thus making decisions according to the will of the Heavenly Father, so that the LORD would be glorified before men (see Mark 9:23-27 i.c.w. Malachi 3:23-24).

Mark 9:23-27:
23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” 25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”
27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

Malachi 4:5-6:
5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.
6 He will turn the hearts of the parents (note: fathers) to their children (note: sons), and the hearts of the children (note: sons) to their parents (note: fathers); or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”

Amen and Amen.

A spirited and sweet year 5780,
