The Returning of Jesus and the Entry into God's Plans for the Future

This message is about receiving God's presence for this time in order to be able to move forward with a higher spiritual potential in Jesus Christ in the power of His strength.

In this regard, the LORD has revealed that many of His people are currently between two periods of time, where it seems to them that they are stuck in time.

This state of feeling stuck can be seen in the fact that there is an inner expectation for larger things, which, however, cannot be clearly defined by words and at the same time there is that inner feeling of being stuck in something of the past.

The Other Lakeside and the Return of Jesus

According to the passage in Luke 8:40-56, dealing with the healing of a blood sick woman and the resurrection of the daughter of Jairus through Jesus Christ, there is the call to entering into God's plans for the future as one of great importance.

In Luke 8:40 it says that Jesus Christ came back from one side of the shore of the Sea of Galilee to the other side, where He had previously ministered to men.

Luke 8:40:
40 Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him.

Jesus came back (note: return) from the shore with His twelve disciples, where He had previously delivered the Gerasene and also destroyed corruption in the economy of the region.

This had happened by allowing the evil spirits after leaving the Gerasene to enter the herd of pigs (note: symbol of economic corruption, according to the Word of God pigs are unclean animals; see Leviticus 11:7; Deuteronomy 14:8), so that they ran into the depths of the sea and drowned there (Luke 8:32-34).

Luke 8:32-34:
32 A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission.
33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
34 When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, …

As Jesus returned to the other side of the lake with a greater testimony of the power of His Heavenly Father (note: deliverance of a man from demons and the economic system of a region from corruption). He came back to the people who were all waiting for Him.

These people waiting for Jesus were in the past, even if they lived in the present, because Jesus Christ had left their shore and went on. As a result, Jesus and His disciples experienced new and great things through the power of the Heavenly Father, because Jesus Christ did only what He saw the Father doing (see John 5:19).

John 5:19:
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

And with this greater testimony about His Father in the future (note: on the other side of the lake at Gerasa), Jesus and His disciples returned to the shore side to the people already waiting for Him.

The Expectation of the People, Jairus and His Sick Daughter

The people waited for Jesus by having an expectation of something greater than they had known. This shore side with the waiting crowd represents the past. Jesus moving with His disciples to the shore side of Gerasa stands for the present, entering into the future plans of the Heavenly Father.

It is very important to the Father in Heaven that His people enter the “future presence” of His plans, which implies His mercy bringing His presence to men with a higher potential. Therefore, there are changes and movements within the society of His people that reveal His greatness.

It is said in Luke 8:41-42a that after Jesus returned with His twelve disciples, a man named Jairus came up to Him and fell at His feet asking Him to come into His house because His only daughter was terminally ill. Jairus was not just any ordinary man, but one leader of the synagogue, who can therefore be equated with persons in leadership (note: spiritual) in our time.

Luke 8:41-42a:
41 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house 42a because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. …

In this context, Jairus represents believers in the field of leadership and spiritual responsibility, to whom the walk in the revelatory knowledge of God is important, passing it on to other people or to instruct others according to it.

Speaking in the prophetic context, his only daughter represents the life of the congregation that was about to decline because leaders had not decided to go further into the future right on time with the presence of God, which also means to walk in the plans (note: promise) of the Heavenly Father for this time.

The way to Jesus and to get in contact with Him was even made more difficult for Jairus, because there was the crowd of people around Jesus full of expectations (see Luke 8:42b).

Luke 8,42b:
… 42b As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him.

The Crowd and the Healing of the Blood Sick Woman

This crowd points to people who feel stuck in the time of the past recognizing the need to receive the future of God's presence (note: Jesus Christ returning from the other side of the lake) with the perspective of being transformed or changed.

This is particularly evident in the representation of the woman suffering from a blood disease for twelve years and approaching Jesus Christ from behind (note: coming from the past).

She approached Him in faith and trust (note: willingness to live in true spiritual relationship with the Heavenly Father) and reached out to Him by touching the hem or tassels of His garment (note: agreement with the order/instruction of God; see Luke 8:43-44 i.c.w. Numbers 15:37-41).

Luke 8:43-44:
43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her.
44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

Numbers 15:37-41:
37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.
39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.
41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.’

This woman suffering of the blood disease for twelve years pressed her way through the different “levels” of time to meet the divine moment for her life (note: Jesus Christ), which finally leads her into the future plans (note: promise) of the Heavenly Father.

By this touch the woman received true life in her blood system getting fully restored (see Genesis 9:4; i.c.w. Acts 15:20; John 6:53-54).

Genesis 9:4:
4 “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. …”

Acts 15:20:
20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.

John 6:53-54:
53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Speaking in the prophetic context, this woman had an understanding of sonship in Jesus Christ through her spiritual maturity established in the past (note: by teaching in the Torah/the Tenakh) and her touch of the hem of the garment of Jesus Christ, because He named her as daughter of faith (see Luke 8:48 i.c.w. Galatians 4:4-7).

Luke 8:48:
48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Galatians 4:4-7 (note: The Jewish New Testament, David H. Stern):
..., 4 but when the appointed time came, God sent his son. He was born of a woman, born into a culture in which the distortion of the Torah of legalism was the norm, 5 so that he might deliver those who were subject to this legalism and in this way enable us to be made sons of God.
6 But now, because you are sons, God has sent the spirit of his son into your hearts, the spirit who cries, Abba! (note: that means father).
7 So by God you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if you are a son, you are also an heir.

The Resurrected Daughter of Jairus and The Process leading into Apostolic Sonship

It is very important to recognize, that while Jesus and His twelve disciples were originally on their way to the daughter of Jairus, He had healed a woman on their way, who was a mature person suffering from blood disease for twelve years, and then He took care of the twelve-year-old girl in order to bring her back to life after she had already died (see Luke 8:49-50.54-56).

Luke 8:49-50.54-56:
49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”
50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” …
54 But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”
55 Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat.
56 Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.

In this context, as Jesus raised Jairus' daughter from the dead to life, he called her “child”, indicating that in this representation the saints of the young generation should be brought into the potential of the sonship of God and His apostolic order by the instruction of the more mature generation (note: here represented by the healed woman from the blood disease).

On the basis of these powerful events of the healing of the blood sick woman and the resurrection of the daughter of Jairus, I would like to mention in my words the words of Apostle Chuck D. Pierce, who writes about this process in his book “Redeeming The Time”, published by Charisma House, ISBN 978-1-59979-378-8, page 10, in addition:

=> It is no coincidence that Jesus healed a woman suffering from blood disease for over twelve years and then raised a twelve-year-old girl from the dead right after this. On their way to the twelve-year-old girl, this woman touched the tassels of Jesus' robe and was healed.

The number 12 is related to the apostolic order and the new administration.
This means that the next generation or administration, represented by the twelve-year-old girl, is asleep, while the old leadership, symbolized by the woman suffering from blood disease, presses through to maintain the new life of the apostolic order within the church and to have an increase of the fresh life in her "temple" (note: body, blood circulation).

The tassels touched by this woman suffering from blood disease are an indication that she was in agreement with the apostolic order of God, which means that she remembered God's instruction and returned to the root of God's revelation (see Numbers 15:37-41).

The Perspective to Go to the New Place with Jesus

In this context, this also means that if it is the Father's will for the church to leave a place of limited efficiency at this time, just as Jesus had left the region of Nazareth and moved to the new place, Galilee, then we should also do so and obediently follow Him (see Matthew 4:12-13).

Matthew 4:12-13:
12 When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.
13 Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali – …

Nazareth represents the region of the fleshly eye (note: earthly view, worldly perspective).

If we do not follow the Father's invitation to leave the “old” region, we will not experience the level of effectiveness in the form of signs and wonders that the Lord wants to do through us.

This means that we neither enter deeper into our promise land nor do we exploit our full potential. Such disobedience is closely linked to unbelief and lacking faith (see Matthew 13:53-58).

Matthew 13:53-58:
53 When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there.
54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked.
55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?
56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”
57 And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”
58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

By moving forward in unbelief as people of God, we behave like the ten spies of the tribes of Israel, who were prohibited from entering into the promise of God (see Matthew 4:15-16; Numbers 13:27-29.31).

Matthew 4:15-16:
15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles – 16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”
17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Numbers 13:27-29.31:
27 They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.
28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.” …
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.”

The Enlightened Eyes of the Tribes of Judah and Ephraim and the New Wine Skin

It is therefore important that we move forward with the right vision and these enlightened spiritual eyes of the tribes of Judah and Ephraim. This means that we first allow worship (note: Judah) to arise and then take up our double inheritance (note: Ephraim) in the will of God and the structure of the new wine skin (note: on earth as it is in heaven; see Numbers 13:6.8 i.c.w. Matthew 6:10)!

Numbers 13:6.8:
… 6 from the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh; …
… 8 from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Nun; …

Matthew 6:10:
… 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Ephraim was the younger son of Joseph, but blessed by Jacob before his elder brother Manasseh (see Genesis 48:13-14).

Genesis 48:13-14:
13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel’s left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them close to him.
14 But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

The Favor of God and the Victorious Transition

This blessing of Jacob points to the favor of God that He gives to those who are ready to entering the new and willing to renew their thoughts through the high thoughts of God (see Romans 12:2 i.c.w. Ephesians 4:23-24; Ephesians 5:15-17).

Romans 12:2:
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23-24:
… 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 5:15-17:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity (note: redeeming the time), because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

It should be noted that it was the half tribe of Manasseh who had been satisfied with the mellow field that was not in the Promised Land (see Numbers 32:1 i.c.w. Deuteronomy 29:7-8).

Numbers 32:1:
1 The Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were suitable for livestock.

Deuteronomy 29:7-8:
7 When you reached this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out to fight against us, but we defeated them.
8 We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

Going back to the events of Luke 8:40-56 in the view of the transition to become a new structure, it is therefore essential that we as the church are in need to victoriously finish the last phase of time.

In order to receive new and fresh life, this transition is connected to the present, which carries God's plan for the future, even if this change is accompanied by overcoming, letting go and reorientation.

The woman healed of the blood disease, through her desperation and longing for life, overcame the barrier of culture, in which the distortion of the Torah to legalism was the norm.

She came in agreement with the apostolic order of the Son of God, who was about to bring the “new wine skin” to life!

It is necessary for believers of the church to humbly choose to press through the obstacle of obsolete church structures and “past times” of church life in order to reach the full measure of God's plan for the future.

Jesus Christ is the one who, through spirit-filled leadership (note: born from above out of the will of the Father), takes us from the old times into the new time of God's plans for the future. This leadership moves with the progress of renewal of the Holy Spirit and does not stand still in order to maintain a status quo or get lost in dead traditions.

In all of this, it is of the highest priority that believers in Christ remove all pride, mockery, and unbelief from their environment to preserve the sound of the resurrection power for God's future plan for the present time.

Only in this way can those who are faithful be victorious and increase in strength through the Word of God (see Matthew 9:23-26 i.c.w. Luke 8:53-55).

Matthew 9:23-26:
23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.
25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
26 News of this spread through all that region.

Luke 8:53-55:
53 They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.
54 But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”
55 Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat.

Other examples from the Word of God carrying this message are, for example, the widow and her son at the time of Elijah (see 1 Kings 17:17-24), Tabitha, returning in new strength to the administration (see Acts 9:36-43), Eutychus, coming back to life with fresh revelatory power (see Acts 20:7-12), as well as the apostles who received power from above in the time of pain and sorrow (see Acts 1:13-15 i.c.w. Acts 2:1-4).

All resurrections and processes of awakening described in these scriptures took place in connection with an upper room, which is connected with the walk of faith in God's plan for the future.

Therefore, God calls the church to leave the old place and its old time and to go with faith (note: firm confidence) to the place of the future plan of God.

This transition requires and involves an undivided heart attitude of submission to an apostolic order set by God (note: ministers/leadership in apostolic understanding) of the believers who have recognized their potentials and promise.

As a result, new life and refreshment comes in the form of efficiency, which appears with the supernatural (note: signs and wonders). This new efficiency, which brings the measure of the future into the present time, leads to a much higher effectiveness in the activities of the church.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
