Entering A Higher Level of Faith

The Lord wants that we, as His people, enter more deeply into His presence through His assigned presence of faith, which can take the form of a cloud. In this, we need to allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit into the revelatory truth concerning the dimension of faith (cf. John 16:13).

John 16:13:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Being led into this level of faith is akin to going up a mountain, which at the same time involves going into the mountain, as it is in God’s interest that we fill the space or capacity of faith with our spirit being. This kind of spiritual filling results in our enveloping and protectively covering all that is entrusted to us in this realm. In such a way as Ruth experienced when she went to Boaz on the threshing floor and asked him to cover her with the corner of his robe (cf. Ruth 3:3.8-9).

Ruth 3:3.8-9:
3 Wash, put on perfume, and get dressed in your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing-floor, but don’t let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. …
8 In the middle of the night something startled the man; he turned – and there was a woman lying at his feet!
9 ‘Who are you?’ he asked. ‘I am your servant Ruth,’ she said. ‘Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer of our family.’

The First Love and the High Place

Based on Naomi’s instruction to Ruth, the principle of humility coupled with obedience is evident, leading to the level of the Redeemer to stand in intimate fellowship with the LORD. This intimacy includes the first love associated with being positioned on an elevated position as we know this principle being revealed by Jesus’ exhortation to the Ecclesia in the region of Ephesus (cf. Revelation 2:4-5a).

Revelation 2:4-5a:
4 Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken the love you had at first.
5 Consider how far you have fallen!

From Matthew 17 we can see that Jesus went to a high mountain where He was transfigured into the resurrection structure before the eyes of His three disciples (Note: Peter, James, and John).

Matthew 17:1-3.5:
1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. …
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!’

Since every mountain is high, this designation of the high mountain has special significance and in a prophetic context, it indicates a higher spiritual realm that comes with new revelatory knowledge, as revealed in 1 Corinthians 2:9.

1 Corinthians 2:9:
… 9 However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’ – the things God has prepared for those who love him – …

Thus, first love for our King Jesus Christ is interwoven with a special height that at the same time carries new revelatory knowledge and leads us into a spiritual renewal process that segues into understanding more deeply the mysteries hidden in Christ Jesus (cf. Colossians 2:2-3).

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

The Greek word used for ‘transformed’ is the word ‘metamorphọō’, from which the word ‘metamorphosis’ is derived. A metamorphosis, in short, involves the transformation of a form, and is intended to ensure continued life.

The true transformation of the inner man (Note: spirit and soul) takes place only when we have chosen to follow Jesus Christ and are submitted to Him in order to lead us to the place of the first love of the Heavenly Father.

The abode in this place of first love has the consequence that we enter into a greater glory of the Lord and see Jesus Christ in the facet how the Heavenly Father wants to reveal Him with the aim to give directions for the future. This may involve a revelation that, according to the will of the LORD, may not be made public until sometime later (cf. Matthew 17:9).

Matthew 17:9:
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, ‘Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.’

The Spirit of Slumber and the Triune Helix

In this context, it is in the adversary’s interest to stop us in our process of renewal, which is like a metamorphosis, as illustrated by Luke 9:32a, where it says that Peter and the other two disciples were full of sleep.

Luke 9:32a:
32 Peter and his companions were very sleepy, …

This means in a prophetic context that ‘sleep’ amongst others is the result of a ‘religious spirit’ in the form of legalism that is bent on preventing a believer from entering the glorious freedom of the Spirit (cf. Romans 11:8b i.c.w. 2 Corinthians 3:17).

Romans 11:8b:
… 8b ‘God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.’

2 Corinthians 3:17:
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Therefore, it is so important to give the Spirit of God free access where we can recognize that religious legalism is present and to awaken where it appears that spiritual things are about to die (cf. Ephesians 5:14b i.c.w. Zechariah 4:1).

Ephesians 5:14b:
… 14b ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’

Zechariah 4:1:
1 Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep.

It is no coincidence that in the transfiguration of Jesus’ body on the high mountain, the so-called three-fold helix played a significant role, which in the earthly realm was Peter, John and James facing the three-fold helix of the supernatural realm in the form of Jesus. He was transformed before their eyes (Note: God’s plan for the body of Christ on earth), as well as they were facing the presence of Moses and Elijah.

A helix describes, among other things, an object with a three-dimensional shape that spirals, as in a corkscrew or a spiral staircase. Furthermore, the word ‘helix’ describes the edge of the outer ear, which is why it is no coincidence that the voice of the Heavenly Father at the time of Jesus’ transfiguration was accompanied by a bright cloud, referring to the importance of hearing the voice of His Son (cf. Matthew 17:5).

Matthew 17:5:
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!’

Therefore, you are invited to allow the LORD to open new dimensions of His love, joy, and revelation, as with a closed bottle of wine with a cork, which is opened with a corkscrew so that you can enjoy the wine.

Furthermore, the ‘helix’ reveals the meaning of the establishment of God’s will on earth, as it has already been determined in heaven. It is akin to a spiral staircase by which we move higher in Christ Jesus to the realm of the Heavenly Father (cf. Matthew 6:10).

Matthew 6:10:
… 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Since God is spirit (cf. John 4:24a), the walk in faith is essential in order to be able to implement His will on earth. In this, like the three disciples, it is necessary to enter the cloud and to be enveloped by it.

This means that with the measure of truth (Note: Peter), grace (Note: John), and vigorous adherence to the promises of God and His Kingdom (Note: James) already established, we enter into His measure of faith. This is given to us for the future in order to go forward in the power of the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy (cf. Revelation 19:10e).

Revelation 19:10e:
‘… 10e For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.’

As a result, we are enabled to go forward as victorious sons of God in resurrection power and governmental dominion in Jesus Christ (cf. Romans 8:14; Galatians 3:26).

Romans 8:14:
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

Galatians 3:26:
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children (Note: sons) of God through faith, …

Moses also understood to enter a higher realm of faith in the form of a cloud, hearing the voice of God to come higher to Him on the mountain, having already seen, eaten and drunk in the presence of God on a hammered sapphire plate with Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and the seventy elders of the people of Israel (cf. Exodus 24:9-12.15.18a).

Exodus 24:9-12.15.18a:
9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up 10 and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky.
11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.
12 The Lord said to Moses, ‘Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.’ …
15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, …
18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain.

The Heavenly Pipe System and the Spirit-Filled Walk in Christ

Combining with the victorious going forth of the sons of God, we are filled by the anointing oil of God flowing through the threefold transparent helix of the Spirit as through a pipe system from above of the presence of the Heavenly Father down into our spirit man.
The release of this type of anointing resembles the piping system of Zechariah 4:1-3.11-14.

Zechariah 4:1-3.11-14:
1 Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep.
2 He asked me, ‘What do you see?’ I answered, ‘I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps.
3 Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.’ …
11 Then I asked the angel, ‘What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?’
12 Again I asked him, ‘What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?’
13 He replied, ‘Do you not know what these are?’ ‘No, my lord,’ I said.
14 So he said, ‘These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.’

This divine pipeline includes the power of sonship in resurrection power represented by Jesus as transfigured, the power of God’s legislation or standard of values represented by Moses, and His fatherly prophethood represented by Elijah, which all point to the importance of the power of God’s Spirit (cf. Zechariah 4:6b).

Zechariah 4:6b:
… 6b “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty.

We know that the Apostle Paul writes to the saints of the Ecclesia in Thessalonica about the mystery of Jesus’ return and the resurrection of the dead, but we can likewise see in this the call of God that goes out to us as saints in the temporary time.

The Lord calls us to walk in faith filled with the Spirit in His Sonship given by Him in Christ Jesus (cf. 1 Thessalonians 4:17).

1 Thessalonians 4:17:
17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord for ever.

This scripture is a literal supernatural event in the future. Nevertheless, we can infer a revelatory truth that carries within it the principle of walking in the Spirit (Note: air) with Christ Jesus and dwelling in the presence of faith (Note: clouds) where He is. By this we get to turn into like a Spirit-filled scribe, to bring forth the old and the new from the Word of God in order to connect the generations with the revelatory truth of the LORD (cf. Matthew 13:52).

Matthew 13:52:
52 He said to them, ‘Therefore every teacher of the law (Note: scribe) who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.’

If we approach the LORD in this way, seeking Him and His face, He will draw near to us, so that together with Him we become part of the ‘helix’ of His shining glory that even draws influential people (cf. James 4:8a i.c.w. Isaiah 60:1-3)

James 4:8a:
8a Come near to God and he will come near to you. …

Isaiah 60:1-3:
1 ‘Arise, (Note: Leave your old environment/thought pattern.) shine (Note: Become one with the presence of God and His thoughts assigned to you.), for your light (Note: presence of the Son - Jesus Christ) has come and the glory of the Lord (Note: presence of the Heavenly Father) rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Entering the higher level of faith according to the cloud therefore involves an inner dealing with areas where we are called to live in trust even more than before and go on full of faith to experience the glory of the King of kings in the midst of uncertainty.

Here it is necessary to have the soul submitted to the Spirit, because our spirit hears from God, who is Spirit. The Father invites us to experience the spiritual direction of God’s Spirit during this time in order to share it with others in their spheres of responsibility.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
